I love wearing turuqoise and actually really like it in the home in small doses though. I like it as an accent as opposed to a main color of the room. It can add just the right amount of "pop"!
Turquoise is one of my favorite colors. I must admit I don't have much of it at home, but I'm planing on adding small doses of it, especially in my bedroom.
This post is gorgeous!
Have a wonderful day!

*** Dear Barbara~~~
I remember "waaay back when"~~~ I was barely a teen, & we moved into "the biiig house" (YOU know, "EVery Mom's DREAM HOUSE!"), and my darling Mom was just SOOO EXCITED!!! Amongst the many OTHER things to delight her, she had "fought the fight and won the battle" for... YES!!!... a "DESIGNER TURQUOISE REFRIGERATOR and STOVETOP" (!)... I can S*T*I*L*L remember the INCREDIBLE SMILES & sheer JOY and EXCITEMENT when the fridge was brought in... Funny how I STILL REMEMBER thinking "OK, OK, but it really I*S just a fridge!"... Little did I know then (!!!............).
These pics are ALL WONDERFUL, and certainly look MORE like "real people" live there... and I like that!...
I wear A LOT of TURQUOISE (B*I*G, & I DO like it with coral and other stones/rocks, too)... I guess you could say I have quite an "extensive collection", after living here in the desert for over 6 years... And for the last few years, I have renewed what came to be my "passionate love affair" with turquoise, most likely because of my Mom. I use it "carefully" in decorating, and when it comes to WEARING it, it's no holds barred, depending on the event. (And looks soooo great with a tan! My husband thinks it's sexy!).
I so enjoyed this... as always, thanks for taking the time to put this together for us...
And again, WELCOME HOME from what sounds to me like a WUNNNNDERBAR trip!!!
Best blessings,
Linda in AZ *

I agree with my first few friends who like it as an accent. I think all of these designers totally nailed it. Love this post! Stacy
I love the accent of turquoise. My favorite was the soft neutral room with the horse painting above the mantel. gorgeous!
Turquoise always makes me happy. Mary
