Taking The Edge Off...

The weather here in Seattle has turned gorgeous and as anyone who lives in the Pacific NW knows, when the sun comes out you have to seize the moment!  

We have been spending every possible minute outside in the sunshine, but when the sun goes down there is still definitely a springtime chill in the air.  That's where a roaring outdoor fire comes in!  

Here are a few lovely options for enjoying this time of year if the temps aren't 100% cooperating.  :)  Enjoy...

Striking Black and White

I came across a few versions of black and white recently that I thought you'd like to see.  Normally this look is too stark for me, but I must admit I found these striking!

You guys already know I love petrified wood...how amazing are these knobs?

yes, those are butterflies...




Not a fan of the chair (for the record :)) but I like the rest and the pinks/corals soften the space..



I think this is actually dark blue and white, but it's striking in the same way.






More great art...I wish I was musical enough to justify this!

One Cool Space

Adios, Cancun!

Hi Everyone!  My post from last week about Hacienda style was inspired by a recent trip to soak up some Vitamin D in beautiful Mexico.  We are back now, but here are a few more related spaces that I thought were worth sharing...

I'm back in rainy Seattle now, but at least everything is bursting with color for Spring.

Hacienda Style...

Do you wish you could have multiple homes to design around all of your different styles that you love?  Me too.  I have been dreaming of a beautiful Hacienda down in Mexico lately.   I'll explain why next week!
