Wow, today I looked at the portfolio from the mother/daughter team of Caldwell Flake and I loved what I saw. The words that came to mind were "quietly stunning". I saw a little bit of everything in their work - Ethnic, European (especially Belgian), Asian, Traditional and more. It's so nice to see a variety of things in a portfolio instead of the same style repeated over and over! See what you think:
love how all the rooms seem to be so elegant yet very relax and comfortable looking...beautiful palette....and I agree, "quietly stunning" is a good term..nothing screams at you from these rooms... maureen
Oh my!!! The children's room, the bust on books, the pink zebra chair, the kitchen with Wolf stove.....I can go on and on. Love it. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love all of it, but I think that the Louis XV Chair upholstered in the vibrant yellow swirled fabric combined with the Old Master engraving takes the cake.

ReplyDeleteThey are great! I love #2 with the Morris egg prints, and the framed intaglios. I love how almost every picture has flowers.
