I love the organic feel of this table display - especially
when they are in those rough containers.
I always fall for an urn, especially when the image gives a new use for one!

Wow, what an awesome industrial-feeling table! I love how the succulent
gets a modern look when put in this fresh white vase.

What a cute idea! Pick up some vintage silver chamapagne glasses
and some small succulents - instant sparkle and earthiness combined.

What a great contrast here against the wood, silver and ethnic feel of the ikat.
Very cool combo.
OK so I am reposting a picture I already used when I wrote about Kitchen Kick Starts,
but I couldn't resist. I think a low, wide bowl filled with
succulents on a kitchen counter looks just great.
I totally agree Barbara...they are great. How wonderful are the ones from Providence, Ltd in the beautiful silver compotes...that Mona doesn't miss a trick!!
ReplyDeleteI have never used these, but they are soooo pretty. Love the color and texture....I can't wait to try them. What a great idea for a post!

I used to love "hens and chicks" when I was a child...I could grow them without them dying on me ...but then I studied horticulture and can now grow a lot of things without them dying on me....yay!!

Hi Barbara, I just found your blog and think this is a great post. I have a black thumb and should look into succulents. The more "low maintenance" the better!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love succulents. I have a long rustic wood container on a farm table on my porch filled with succulents. The low maintenance aspect of it just makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteI LOOOVE succulents too, these are some great pictures! The former Smith & Hawken (RIP) had an AMAZING (yet pricey) living succulent wreath and I was always thinking maybe I could make one myself. I love the picture with the succulents in the delicate silver bowls.
