I am really drawn to this style of desk lately. They are totally impractical considering storage, etc., although I think I could work something out. :) Take a look at some of my favorite variations on this great piece:
Me too! I'm a big fan! My absolute pet-hate is banging my shins or knees on clunky drawers and mechanisms under desks, this is the perfect solution. (Although it does mean that you have to be super neat under your desk!)
how did I miss this post?..and it's so gorgeous...I love the light feel to this style of desk..not so bulky..but as you say, a little impractical...need shelves built in behind on the back wall, perhaps.. maureen
I can see why..its beautiful, doesnt' look bulky or cumbersome and goes with a multitude of design styles. Beautiful examples you have showed!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those desks! I don't care how impractical it is -- I would buy the WS one in a HEARTBEAT of it weren't priced so far out of my range!

ReplyDeleteI adore these and so wish I could manage but I think I need more storage at hand!! I am clearly not as neat or organized as you!!
