Decorating For Fall With Urns

One of my very first posts was about decorating with urns because I love using them so much in design.  They instantly add elegance and have so much year-round potential.  Because of all of that, I decided to start a series for each season about ideas for decorating with urns.  Here are a few examples for my favorite season, Fall:
(Many of these pre-date my blogging days so I apologize in advance where I don't have a source!)

How easy - and beautiful - would that be on either side of your driveway?

Another super easy solution.  I think I'd assign each of my kids an urn and let them decide how to do it!

Urns in the kitchen?  I like it.

Tina at The Enchanted Home did a great post about displaying fruit for a fresh look in your home.  My favorite was this one with the urn!  You can read more about that here.

I especially like this type of urn.

This room would be beautiful in any season!
Those urns are so great that they don't need anything more.

A cozy place to curl up and read as the weather turns cooler and we all start to "nest".
And the urns are filled with succulents!  Gorgeous.

Such an inviting entrance and those urns from Provence are timeless.

This room has a great British feel!

For those of you expecting trick-or-treaters.

The urn blends beautifully in this rustic room.

I hope you liked this post!

  7. Beautiful images. I love urns, especially old ones. Here in SW Florida I am more inclined to fill them with fruit and seashells rather than pine cones, but there is something graceful about the shape that adds elegance to any space.

  9. What is it about urns that say Fall?

Gorgeous stuff. I particularly love the pottery style urns (were they water jugs at some point?)

Anyway, I just love the David Jimenez photo. That man's style really speaks to me.
