Not sure if this is officially greek key, but it's along the same lines...
I love the look of a roman shade to soften a kitchen...adding some greek key trim makes it even better!
I wouldn't think to put ikat and greek key together, but wow!!
Greek key and monograms together - two of my faves.
Geek goes greek. Haha! :)
I'm really liking this idea too - greek key detailing on the edges of the pillows...divine.
I thought this was a very cool idea. What a transformation!
So...have I sold you on greek key? Were you already sold? Or is it not your thing?
Whatever the answer, I'd love to hear.
I've used Greek key design on a few pillows it's such a beautiful and enduring design.

Love this post and so agree, its such a classic timeless design element, I am especially fond of it in textiles and on window treatments, and will probably end up using greek key somewhere in the new house. Beautiful post!
ReplyDeletePS Love monograms with it too.

This post is great, Barbara. I think you've done an excellent job here. I don't have any Greek key element in my own house but I've wanting to add something w/ it. I'm loving the stairs idea. Isn't it beautiful?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, sweetie.

Barbara, love this post. A very classic style. Do you know who the manufacture of that small side table is?

ReplyDeleteWhen I was young, my mother, who was an excellent sewer, make a quilted comforter for her bedroom in eggplant that she trimmed in a gray Greek key. She made matching curtains with a Greek key leading edge. The walls were painted dark gray. I have never forgotten that room. So the answer is, "Yes." I love Greek key.
