Love that fern!
What a cool backdrop for the wreath - you could use this piece of wood over and over, re-painting it depending on the season or your mood...
A little sparkle never hurts. :)
Bring in some branches from your yard for instant drama.
I love this idea: pick up an old bucket at a garage sale (or in your own garage!) and wrap it with some flexible twigs and berries for a great rustic ice bucket.
You can find more simple decorating ideas for Fall on my first guest post today for Dwell with Dignity. It's a fantastic organization that I'm excited to be a part of - I'll be guest posting for them on a regular basis from now on.

The bucket wrapped in twigs {bittersweet, bitterroot?}is such a good idea, so simple. I love the color combo on the first table, white with shades of pear and warm accents. So pretty and natural.
ReplyDeleteThe Martha Stewart image and the last image are so New England. You got me looking forward to early morning walks when there's a bit of a nip in the air and you can see your breath.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
John
I absolutely love the white pumpkins in the window box, so cute! I am heading to check out your guest post now.
ReplyDeleteDwell with Dignity sounds like a very worthwhile venture. I hope it turns out that way! Beautiful pic's as well!
ReplyDeleteLovely ideas here! I especially love the pumpkin made out of book pages. We don't really do seasonal decorating in South Africa, except for Christmas so I might have to start a new trend here. x Sharon

I just can't seem to get enough of Autumn decorating this year! I am smitten with those mini pumpkin candles!
ReplyDeleteFall is definitely upon us here in the northeast and I love it and love these images. Nothing like fall decorating to get us in the spirit of the season.
ReplyDeleteLoving the place cards in the first photo. And those glittered pumpkins would add such sparkle to traditional fall decor.
