I always notice a beautiful stairway! Since they are so often right at the entry of a home, I think paying attention to this detail makes a great first impression. Enjoy these inspirations. Happy Wednesday!
Gorgeous stairways and I dream of them rather then the two sided wall case we have. Love the staircase with the slide/chute how freaking fun but my favorite is the last image with stone!
These are wonderful examples of stunning staircases, Barbara! Not only do staircases provide architectural interest, they're a perfect location to display artwork and sculpture. Great post! ~ Wendi ~
I've always loved the look of stairs especially in an old home..love the sweeping curved lines and the wood trim...these are all so stunning!! best, maureen
Barbara, Simply beautiful! I believe that the railing (or lack of one) really makes the staircase and I,too, ALWAYS notice them! Movement, and style...
I really can't decide, they are all unbelievably gorgeous. I guess I'd pick the one in the RL store... every thing I love in one space... perfection! -Happy New Year!
I think the first and last one are my favourites and I also love the Bobby McAlpine one with the huge oil painting alongside. I have been "collecting" staircases for a while and will definitely be adding some of these to my collection. x Sharon
These are wonderful images. That slide is amazing! I love a dramatic and simple stair.

The spiral, wrought iron ones have got to be my favorite. They look like something out of a fairy tale, I think!
ReplyDeleteBarbara I adore gorgeous staircases. They are such architectural feats and then of course, unique works of art as well!

ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of custom ironwork and would love to have it in our home! Very pretty, Barbara
ReplyDeleteHow to choose just one? I can't so it is a toss up between nos. 7, 12, 19, 22 and 25. Barbara they are all gorgeous. Thanks for the fun. Mary
ReplyDeleteI thought I would choose the spiral staircases as my favourite and then I saw the rustic stone staircase in the last pic - LOVE!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the staircase with the x railing and the two pink ottomans below it. Super classic, but simple too.
