Soothing Bedroom Retreats

Today I bring you some beautiful bedrooms that I find incredible peaceful...I can definitely imagine myself curling up with a good book (on a stormy, rainy evening in Seattle! :)).  I hope you find something that you like, too!

I adored this look:  a bed set against a wall of bookshelves.
How easy - and inspiring - would that be to find a great book to just pull of the shelf?

  6. Makes me want to crawl back in for a snooze. Beautiful rooms. I am partial to lighter colors but intestingly do not care for wall to wall, I like wood floors with an area rug. Nice collection of rooms.

  8. Gorgeous! We are currently doing some work on our master -it has a ways to go before it looks this soothing, but I'm determined to get it together soon. Finding just the right nightstands is a little challenging, but I'm hopeful we can find something "just right"!
Hope your day is just as lovely as these dreamy rooms!

  11. Barbara, These are beautiful rooms. With the current snow storm in Seattle, I would love curling up in ANY of those rooms - with a good book and some hot cocoa or tea ;)

  16. These rooms are all so beautiful and oh so much better than my own. :)

I can see why you chose each one and have to tell you I see a strong linear drapery/curtain theme in the group.

  17. These are gorgeous! I love color, but in my bedroom I prefer warm neutrals like these rooms. I love the room with all the books. It would be hard for me to leave with a collection like that at my fingertips!

  18. :) We were on the same page! The bedrooms you picked are all so beautiful! I also really love the bed against the bookcase (and I spied the abundant Jo Malone candles next to the bed...)
