Random Monday Musings

Hope you had a great weekend.  We made some more progress on the house and got out a bit to enjoy the Seattle sun.  Here are a few fun, beautiful or interesting things I have come across lately - hope you like them!

  6. I think I'd like to go hang out in that third photo - how gorgeous - especially now that our weather has taken such a gray turn! Glad to hear that you are making progress on the house, and that you got to enjoy the sun while it lasted.

Thanks for the lovely comment today! Yes, would love to catch up when we are back from Paris.

  7. Good luck getting settled. It's such a job after living overseas...I've done it myself, twice. Beautiful images here...love the dining. So spacious and that linen tablecloth is just draped perfectly.

  10. Barbara,
I love that you're out exploring your new city. There is always such excitement in the discovery!

Every image is beautiful, but the first one just exudes the kind of outdoor living space I hope to some day create. Just beautiful. And with the Northeast being treated to some unseasonably warm weather, all I want to do is be outside.

Here's to a wonderful week on your side of the country!

  11. My favorite was the contemporary fireplace with the split log mantel shelf.... until I came to the cookies and cream picture....

    :-)

    That made my day!

    Cheers,

  17. This place looks amazing. You made some great choices when you began to Design Your Home. I have been working on designing my own place and have been using Simply Decorate for help. They have great tools, ideas, and more to help create the perfect space. While I do work with them, they have honestly been a valuable resource and I would definitely recommend them.
