Number 10 is so cozy, with the slanted ceiling! But the first picture looks like a foyer of a big Belgian mansion... I don't have a big foyer or hallway, but I would love to have a bigger one where I would put some family pictures, a few romantic lights and a little table with fresh flowers. Oh and a gorgeous big lighting fixture in the centre. ;-) A girl can dream, no? ;-) Love your pictures, like always! Inge x
When we added our addition to our home several years ago, the one thing I concentrated on was the passageway through….it is still my most favorite part of the house and I doubt that will ever change! I'm not exactly sure why that is, except that by the time we added on I had lived with the existing space and knew what I wanted from the new one. It makes me happy every time I walk through it, which is probably 30 times a day!
Gorgeous, Barbara! I love your choices. I would love to see the brick hallway decorated!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday.

Wow. I love that one with the navy cabinetry. They are all divine!
ReplyDeleteWow you picked some breathtaking hallways Barbara!!!!!! Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any really big hallways or even really a foyer in our house so I always love looking at these!

You got me with that first Gwen Driscoll image. Love the beams, the understaded elegance...all of it!
ReplyDeleteYou had me hooked with the first photo! That ceiling! Then, the Architectural Digest photo wasn't half bad either! Good heavens!
ReplyDeleteI have painted stripes in mine and I also like those presenting an art gallery wall!
