Today I'm Loving...

...the gentle look of lavendar - the real thing and the color.  Here are a few of my favorite shots that I have come across lately. I'm off to the country for the weekend but I'll be back on Monday with more design inspirations. Have a great one!

    Not a color I have ever been really drawn to but lately am really warming up to it! A friend just completed the most beautiful guest room in a pale tan and lavender toile and I must say its incredible as are all these stunning pictures.

    love lavender too, as a color and plant..it's so gorgeous and fragrant..
    am wanting to find a way to incorporate it into my decorating..
    perhaps a bedroom like what you have shown..it's so pretty..

    I used a little bit darker purple in my lady house in the master bedroom, with tan and some black, and I loved it. Beautiful photos. PS...getting a little jealous of your jet setting life! :)

    Barbara ~ what a gorgeous image of the lavender in that country setting, I wonder if it is a wedding? I love the sprigs on the back of the chairs. Enjoy your weekend. ebh

    Lavender is a color that's definitely growing on me in both fashion and decor. Love the beautiful wallpaper in that first shot and the rustic chic of the last. Hope you had a wonderful weekend
