A French Bath

I usually wouldn't prefer pink in a bath but in here it's just so French, I can't resist it!  This French Bathroom, designed by Betty Lou Phillips, has so many beautiful elements.  It was inspired by the napkin rings below, found in a small shop in Paris, and the design flowed from there...

Those tiled mosaic rugs are so clever...

The mirror is stunning too!

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!

  1. Love this bath, drooled over it the first time I saw it and though I too am not much of a pink person in the home, against the soft grays it works beautifully!

  2. I am not that much into taking baths (I am such a shower girl) but this might even turn me around!

Lovely colors, lovely materials and lots of uniqueness.

    Warm hugs,

P.S I have been a terrible blog friend all summer. But it will get better, starting next week, when even the little one will be in school!

  3. This bathroom is pretty special. I wonder what it would be like to wake up and get ready in there in the morning? Heaven.

  4. Yes, I love the mirror! And, how about the giant bottle if Shalimar?! If I were the architect, I would have tucked the toilet into a separate little room, in a bathroom this grand. And please, call me "Madame"!

  6. Beautiful...Love Betty Lou, I have all of her books. Fun story, Sister's daughter went to college at TCU and baby sat for Betty Lou's two granddaughters. They were the flower girls in her wedding. They are a precious family.
