The weather is really starting to turn here in Seattle and that is inspiring me to think about getting outside, which leads me to beautiful outdoor spaces. Let's take a look together:
Check out those flames! Impressive.
Lunch in the French countryside anyone?
I just love the overall feel of this area...the lighting, the railing, the enclosed space.
Perfect timing - we're working on a major landscaping overhaul of our yard. It's much smaller than these beauties, but I see little bits of detail for my inspiration file!
I'm reminded that I should stop and take a break, go outside and enjoy a little of the day in my side yard. Several more hours of work await me this evening. A nice break, some fresh air would feel good!
My two fans are the rustic table and chairs under what look like olive trees and the one below with the grass/bluestone checkerboard pattern.
These are all stunning images. The first one is fabulous. Steve might like to know that the second image is the olive tree terrace at John Saladino's California home called Villa diLemma and was photographed by Alexandre Bailhache. Thanks for the inspiration, Barbara. Best...Victoria

I so wish my outdoor space were as elegant but then again, I'd never spend a second inside!

That second photo is so soft and gray, it's hard to believe it's a photo.
It will be so nice to begin dining outdoors, as soon as the weather clears a bit. Such lovely images.

Beautiful, all of them. I really love that chequerboard grass idea. I might have to try that somewhere. x Sharon

The symmetry of the first image really catches the eye!
