Draped

Happy Friday!  I have been swamped this week unpacking all of our little things.  Although it's certainly fun, I also find myself asking quite often things like:  "Why on earth do I have so many candles???" and "Why do I need so many vases?!"...ugh.  I know I'll be glad I have all of these beauties when I am done but it IS getting a bit tedious!  It also means it's keeping me away from the wonderful blogs out there that I love to visit for inspiration as well as doing posts as regularly as I'd like.  Thanks for sticking with me, continuing to read, and for leaving comments.  I am reading them and appreciate them.  I will be back soon to the normal "blogger me", I promise. :)

Anyway, drapes are one of the things on my mind for the new house so I thought I'd share a few beautiful examples with you all today.  We are lucky to have many windows and doors in the house, but that means a lot of exposure to our new neighbors!  So, having beautiful drapes is in order and I must say I'm looking forward to it.  :)  Here are a few great ideas:

Is there anything prettier than a shimmery silk draped pooled along the floor?

Especially love the first image! Can't wait to get mine.
Sounds like you are close to the end of getting settled. Easy for me to say, but I remember.
Happy Friday, Barbara.

Hi Barbara, hang in there! I'm sure your making lots of progress. We just ordered window coverings for our living room and dining room - floor length shimmering silk in the palest of gray. Can't wait for them to arrive. Hope you can get a way from the boxes a bit and enjoy the weekend! XO
