More French Decorating Ideas

I had so many beautiful French inspirations to share that they couldn't all fit into yesterday's post.  So, here are a few more that will probably leave you with the feeling that you need to add "a shopping trip to Paris" to your Christmas list.  However, I always find that when I travel I want to bring home housewares, and those don't fit very easily into a suitcase.  What's a girl to do?  ;)

Parisian decor and architecture is definitely full of grandeur. These truly are amazing! French antiques are also my fave! I get some pieces from 2 French men here in Atlanta and they always give me a little history lesson as well.

Oh yes please! There is just so much loveliness that I don't know where to start! I'm going back to stare at the 10th image with the plush sofa and plump pillows and behind it, the stone fireplace and arched double doors! *sigh*

Those Frenchmen and French ladies--they know exactly how to do it right--slightly imperfect, inviting and gorgeous. But we can also find so much of French style here if we look. Great photos--of course, Paris is my most favorite of cities. Mary

Hi Barbara,
Loved your 'French' posts!! I am also a big fan of all things French and I love to visit Paris or the Provence. France is a wonderful country with so much things to enjoy: vineyards, castles, flee markets,....!
I wish you a wonderful rest of the week Barbara!!
xx

Hi Barbara, thanks so much for all the wonderful images, they're lovely to dream about! :-) And the thought of a Bloggers convention for 2012 in Paris (or the Provence) would be great... Count me in. ;-)
Keep on sharing those lovely posts!
Love, Inge x

Dearest, The home in your photo is none other than the Swan House right here in Atlanta, Georgia. American, not French. Beautiful nonetheless!

Your blog is amazing!!! I just discovered, from Ms. Enchanted Home.

Have a great day!
