Scandinavian Shopping

Next up in my series of posts about our trip to Denmark and Norway is about my shopping discoveries.  Before I dive in though, thank you so much to all of you who wished me a wonderful trip and welcomed me back! It was great to get away but also fun to get back and reconnect with the wonderful community that I am lucky to be a part of!

So, come along with me today on a virtual shopping trip in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Trondheim (Norway) for a few of my favorite shopping highlights - hope you enjoy it!

RueVerte in Copenhagen is a boutique clothing store, cafe and decorating store...what a great combination!  I loved their mix of industrial elements with muted colors which made for a really hip, yet elegantly European, mix.

Next up:  Slettvoll in Trondheim.  I had posted about this great store here, but of course it was even better to see it in person!  I got so many great vignette and accessorizing ideas, but also overall I just love the feel they create in their spaces...their Summer collection is a little bit beachy, a little bit Asian, and a whole lot of sophisticated simple style.  I loved it and I couldn't stop snapping pictures.

This simple display was in the courtyard leading to a beautiful shoe store: Scarpa.

And finally, I was so excited when I just stumbled upon the store for Tom Roussou, whom I blogged about here a while back.  Unfortunately the store was closed, but it was still a fun surprise!

I'd love to hear if any of these designs appeal to you and if so, which...
please leave a comment if you'd like!
Have a great weekend wherever you are in the world...:)

Barbara, How fun being exposed to all of the different things you have this Summer through your travels. You have been exposed to the shopping extravaganzas of the world. How is your shop coming? slowly, slowly working on mine. Have a great week. Mona
